The ideas which came up were as
follows:
- An evening with a make up
demonstration, aimed specifically at
the T community, since most make up
artistes tend to specialise in day
to day women's make up, and do not
cover things like covering beard
shadow.
- An evening devoted to wigs and
wig care, following the success of
the previous evening devoted to this
subject, though preferably without
the background noise.
- A quiz night
- A DVD night
- A Group Social evening, with
invitations to the other GAD based
groups, similar to the one we ran in
the past.
- A Swap Shop/Bring and Buy
Evening
- Start work on producing a
calendar for 2009. The previous
instance of this was extremely
successful, though very hard work in
the short timescale for several
people. By starting early, we can
work on it throughout the year.
- Look at running a Trans Fashion
Show, possibly in February 2009.
The previous show, which launched
Club T, was a tremendous success and
it would be nice to repeat it. By
beginning preparations now, we
should be able to ensure that this
is equally, if not more successful.
Obviously, there is no guarantee that
all of these can happen, but I see no
reason why we shouldn't be able to do
most of them. Any other suggestions, we
would gladly consider. Just let us know
and we'll see what can be done.
