Gay Advice Darlington/Durham (GADD) is a volunteer run service established in 1995 by local gay and bisexual men, and has developed into a Charity that work with and for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Community of County Durham and Darlington.

GADD's services include;

A Helpline, Drop-in Sessions for Men, Women, Youth and Transgender,

1-2-1 Support on a variety of issues, befriending and advocacy and much more...

 

WHY VOLUNTEER???

WHY NOT??? Give something back to the community and make a difference. Share your energy and life skills.

 

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS TO ME???

GADD will provide FREE training, a FREE GADD Handbook, regular support sessions and continued development, not to mention making new friendships, increased confidence and positive experiences!!!

 

REQUIREMENTS!!!

To be an active Volunteer for GADD you need:

to be aged 18 or over

have an informal interview

successfully complete the training course

supply 2 references

be registered with the I.S.A

and have a satisfactory enhanced CRB check (paid for by GADD)

Simply print out and fill in the Volunteer Form and return it to the office.

You will be contacted shortly thereafter with details of the next Training Course.
